Both Teams To Score & No Draw guide
We have scrutinised the stats and crunched the numbers to provide you with what we think are the best selections for the Both Teams To Score No Draw market. Also when we think there’s some good value we’ll also include the BTTS and over 2.5 odds as the picks are very similar and it’s worth checking both odds to see what you prefer to back.
Of course, you don’t have to go with our choice, however, if you like the look of this market you can add some of the individual picks to your acca. The banner below will take you directly to the William Hill site. It will not start any annoying ads or pop-ups!!
This market is offered by all the main Bookmakers including William Hill, Paddy Power, Betfair and Betfred. Because of the different factors with this type of bet, the odds can be very attractive for only a small number of fixtures wagered on. Make sure you check the markets on each site because they don’t always match and cover the same fixtures.

You can find this market on the football menu and then navigate to the coupons. Simply make your selections which will be added to your bet slip.
How do we make our BTTS tips and selections where there is no draw?
For this bet to come in we obviously need the goals to fly in and avoid teams that seem to be draw specialists. As the season progresses we can get more of an idea of which teams are clinical in front of goal and which teams have a leaky defence.
For the fixtures available we obviously look at the form guide and recent matches. We then have a look at the highest % score rates available going into the upcoming matches and match the teams to the fixtures for both home and away. Out of all the facts and figures available we take the highest placed teams that we researched relating to these stats and create our accumulator. The more games that are played throughout the season the more accurate and precise the stats will be.
As we have mentioned earlier, there are some fantastic returns to be had because of the nature of the bet but if we keep to a more realistic selection we can hope for a bigger return on our bets.
Remember not all bookmakers offer Both Teams To Score No draw bets. Our favourites include: William Hill, Paddy Power and Betfred, so you will need an account with either one of them if you want to bet on this new and exciting market.
Good luck with this week’s tips and we’ll keep you up to date on Twitter!
How we pick our Both Teams To Score tips with over 2.5 goals;
We start by looking at the BTTS stats for each game and identify the suitable games that we’re happy to back for BTTS. We then cross-reference them against the over 2.5 goals stats for each team here – http://www.windrawwin.com/statistics/over-under-25-goals/ to identify the high chance games for both markets. Then we do a quick check of the odds to make sure they offer decent value and are not really low, combine our top 3 picks into a treble and then post them on the site. We keep you updated with how we’re getting on via twitter @btts_winners and fingers crossed we pick the right games.
Things to look for picking your own accas in this market
- Stats – We always use stats to pick any bets, this is a much safer option than just going with what you fancy. There’s nothing wrong with that but even if you want to bet like that its best to back up your selections with some numbers.
- Trial and error – Keep working on your system to pick the bets and see what works for you. Over time you should keep track of your profit and loss and try and identify trends in your bets to help you pick more winners.
- Lastly, when following BTTS tips, make sure that you’re completely happy. Do some research yourself and only bet what you can afford. In other words, bet responsibly.

Of course the Both Teams To Score betting market is solely for English football. You can use this betting market across most leagues from around the world. We often find that there is some fantastic value in some of the other big leagues, particularly in Europe. There are many leaky defences, dodgy goalkeepers and world-class strikers in Germany, France and of course Spain. Combine these factors alone and the goals often fly in. We look at the BTTS stats from these leagues too and if they’re in our favour we will add them to our tips.
Aside from win-draw-win the Both Teams To Score betting market is one of the most popular ways to have a wager on football.
We all love the goals flying in and there are a number of ways to bet, meaning you can create your own Both Teams To Score strategy.

This is a really tough market to call but all you need is 1 winning 4 fold in a season to really make a big profit. Here’s to hoping we’ll get one or two and make a huge return this year. Last season we didn’t quite nail it with these tips and had a few with the right result but missing the BTTS and some with the BTTS but no the result – Frustrating!
Why – As the season unfolds our picks will be statistically the strongest bets we can find. We take the last home or away league games and the head to head record, combine them to create a percentage chance of the bet landing. Look out for our tips in the coming weeks.
Both Teams To Score Strategy and Considerations.
*18+. UK+IRE only. Min first bet £5 at odds 1/2 or more. Tote and Pool excluded. Must be placed within 14 days of account reg. £20 credited as 4 x £5 free bets. Not valid with Cash Out. Free bet valid for 4 days. Free bet stake not returned. T&Cs apply.
Of course stats can and do play a huge part when considering how a bet can be placed on this market. It goes without saying that if teams are banging in the goals week in week out then their percentage strike rate for their half of BTTS will increase.
Your Both Teams To Score strategy can also work in reverse. By this we mean you can bet on the BTTS ‘no’ market. If teams are leaking goals because of a dodgy defence or they lack firepower upfront then this could see good returns.
Another consideration in your strategy should be team lineups. We can all name the sides and players with the man up top who grabs all the headlines. When these players are injured or suspended the team can struggle to find the net and therefore you might want to stay clear of betting on that match.
With the likes of creating a Both Teams To Score and win strategy to follow, it may be a good idea to look closely at previous results. There are many teams who are decent upfront but awful at the back.
The same can be said for the BTTS no draw market. The returns here can be a lot higher as it can be very difficult to predict. We again need two sides that have a high percentage strike rate but also a high rate of conceding goals.
We like to pick a BTTS strategy and maybe tweak it as the season progresses. We obviously need high scoring teams in each fixture. It’s probably not in our best interests to have draw specialists when thinking about our Both Teams To Score considerations.
So in summary study the history of teams. We don’t mean trophies won over the years but recent results. A good starting point could be the previous 5 results. Look for a high record of scoring but also teams guilty of conceding. Another BTTS consideration could be to bet with a bookmaker that also offers in-play and/or cash out markets. You may find the odds slightly less for these but you can snap up some returns if you’re quick to take advantage.
In terms of placing your actual bet make sure you’re getting the best deal for your money. Shop around for the best odds and look out for any acca insurance. We all get those coupon busters from time to time.
You can easily create a decent BTTS acca if you look amongst all the leagues. Finally, remember to bet responsibly.
